October 14, 2020

MILTON, MA – A 24-year-old man was killed in a wrong-way crash in Milton this weekend that led to the injury of three other people, according to WHDH.

The accident happened Saturday morning at 5 a.m. on northbound I-93, near Exit 3, when the 24-year-old driver of a 2008 Ford Escape was traveling southbound, against the flow of oncoming traffic.

The driver, Stoughton man Stephen Zorn, crashed into a 2017 Ford Escape head-on in an impact which caused the 2008 Ford to roll over onto its roof. The 2008 Ford was then hit by a Mercedes C300, driven by a 50-year-old man from Wrentham. The impact of the crash caused it to collide with a Kia Sportage.

Zorn died at the scene.

The driver of the Mercedes and the driver of the 2017 Ford, a 29-year-old woman from Plymouth, were both taken to the hospital for the treatment of severe injuries.

The driver of the Kia, a 38-year-old woman from Raynham, also received minor injuries in the collision, which authorities continue to investigate at this time.
